Like just about every year, Christmas was a whole lot of fun this year. I honestly don’t understand how there are people who legitimately don’t like Christmas. I guess they have just had a bad experience or something, but I think that Christmas is such an amazing time of the year.
In addition to getting to spend a lot of time with the people who I care about the most, I would be lying if I said that I didn’t get excited about opening my presents, along with watching other people open the presents that I bought for them. It’s fun when a gift really surprises you, and it’s also a lot of fun to watch when a gift really surprises someone else.
Out of all the gifts that I received this year, there was one that really stood out. The gift that landed at the top of my list was a gift certificate for a Detroit luxury car rental. Since I live in Detroit, I am going to be able to use this gift certificate at any time during the upcoming year to rent an amazing car for a full day. I’m not sure what type of car I’m going to rent (the certificate allows me to choose the one I want), but I do know that I’m going to plan a really fun day when I do redeem my certificate!
