I’m very excited about Thanksgiving this year. Normally, my family and I do the exact same thing every Thanksgiving. Although I like spending time with my family, I would be lying if I said that following the same routine every year doesn’t get a little bit boring.
Fortunately, I wasn’t the only person who felt this way, so we decided to change things up this year. We decided that it would be a blast if we all took a trip to Detroit to see the annual America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This is one of the biggest Thanksgiving Day parades in the United States, and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.
While the parade is going to be the highlight of our trip, we are going to be in Detroit for a total of four days. Therefore, I made sure that everyone going with us made reservations online to get a rental car. Our plans for those other three days aren’t set in concrete yet, but I figured that as long as we have rental cars to use, we will be able to do whatever we decide sounds like fun.
