During the holiday season, I got to spend time with just about everyone in my family. Because I can legitimately say that I like the members of my family (sure, some of them are quite quirky, but I still enjoy spending time with them), the holiday season was quite nice.

Although I got to spend time with just about everyone, there was one member of my family who I did not get to see. The person who I didn’t get to see during the holidays was my cousin. This may sound surprising, but she was actually on a work trip during the holiday season. My cousin has created an amazing life for herself, but she works extremely hard, and sometimes she has to make these kinds of sacrifices.

Because I really like hanging out with her, now that she is back in Detroit, I decided to get a rental car and go visit her. The drive to Detroit in my rental car actually wasn’t that long, and getting to spend some time with her (when she wasn’t working) was definitely worth the time that it took me to get to Detroit.

Like just about every year, Christmas was a whole lot of fun this year. I honestly don’t understand how there are people who legitimately don’t like Christmas. I guess they have just had a bad experience or something, but I think that Christmas is such an amazing time of the year.

In addition to getting to spend a lot of time with the people who I care about the most, I would be lying if I said that I didn’t get excited about opening my presents, along with watching other people open the presents that I bought for them. It’s fun when a gift really surprises you, and it’s also a lot of fun to watch when a gift really surprises someone else.

Out of all the gifts that I received this year, there was one that really stood out. The gift that landed at the top of my list was a gift certificate for a Detroit luxury car rental. In total, I was in Detroit for five and a half days. I went there with one of my close friends, which made my trip even more fun. Since we are both very active people, we were able to fit quite a few different experiences into our trip, even though we were there for less than a week.

While a lot of people probably wouldn’t think of Detroit as a top vacation destination, you may actually be surprised at all of the different things that this city has to offer. Even though we fit as much into our schedule as possible, there were still an endless amount of things that looked enjoyable, but we simply didn’t have time to do them.

Whether you like shopping, eating out, visiting new places or any number of other activities, you can find it all in and around the city of Detroit.

With the nickname of “The Motor City,” Detroit has long been associated with automobile manufacturers in the United States. However, as a result of the impact of the global economy, the face of Detroit is changing dramatically. While some people may see this as a negative, I actually think it is a good thing for Detroit. Detroit has always been an interesting city, and now that it’s going through a transition, I think it will be easier for people to see all of the great characteristics that Detroit has to offer.

Just to give you an example of what you can find in Detroit, I’ll use the trip that I took there about five months ago. Detroit has a large university called Wayne State University, and the area around this university is quite a diverse collection of different cultural neighborhoods. This is the area where I stayed during my five day trip to Detroit, and I have to say that even though I already knew Detroit was a great place, my experience here even exceeded my expectations. From museums to farmer’s markets, I plan on visiting this area of Detroit again in the future.

I’m very excited about Thanksgiving this year. Normally, my family and I do the exact same thing every Thanksgiving. Although I like spending time with my family, I would be lying if I said that following the same routine every year doesn’t get a little bit boring.

Fortunately, I wasn’t the only person who felt this way, so we decided to change things up this year. While the parade is going to be the highlight of our trip, we are going to be in Detroit for a total of four days. Before I actually made my reservation, I spent a few minutes looking through their website. The first thing that stood out to me was that they offer unlimited mileage. While many of the large rental car companies will try to squeeze out every cent possible, it was nice to see that Lakeside Car Rental is more concerned with keeping their customers happy. In addition to their unlimited mileage policy, Lakeside Car Rentals also accepts cash and debit cards, which I know is a huge help for many travelers (myself included).

After browsing around their website, I decided that they looked like a solid choice, so I went ahead and made my reservation. When I arrived in Detroit, the car I had reserved was waiting for me at Lakeside Car Rental, and I didn’t encounter any problems with the car during my five day trip.

For a recent four day trip to Detroit with my wife, I booked my plane, hotel and rental car reservations through an online travel website. The flight to Detroit went fine, but when we arrived at the airport, we ran into a minor problem. As we were beginning the process of picking up our rental car, the attendant told me that I was the only driver listed on the reservation, and that in order for my wife to be added as a driver, it would cost an extra $11 a day. I told the attendant that this must be a mistake, but she simply replied that if I wanted my wife to drive the car, I was going to have to fork over an additional $44.

I’m a stubborn person, and the last thing I want to do is pay extra for something that isn’t my fault. Lo and behold, when I talked to an Avis customer service rep, they were able to give me a better car for $50 less than the original price of the other company. Additionally, I saved the $44 that I was going to be charged!

Although it may not be the same city that is once was, Detroit Michigan is still an enjoyable place to visit. The people of Detroit are quite resilient, and they have worked hard to preserve the atmosphere and energy of their city. While it may not be at the top of the list for places that you want to travel, I can guarantee you that if you take a trip to Detroit, you will enjoy the time that you spend there.

Far too many people make the mistake of waiting until they arrive in Detroit to get a rental car. Not only will this cost you extra money, but if you are like most, you will waste a lot of time waiting around for your car to be ready.
