Last month, I took a business trip to Detroit. I say that it was a short business trip, because I was only there for three days. However, I was honestly amazed at how much I got done during those three days in Detroit. Not only did I hold several meetings in just three days, but because I had access to an office while I was there, I was also able to get quite a bit of my regular work done. Since I can access everything I need as long as I have an Internet connection, I was able to bring my laptop to Detroit, set it up in the office space that I had access to use and then get to work.
While about ninety percent of my trip to Detroit was filled up with business related things, I did find a little time to squeeze in some personal enjoyment. Because I really enjoy good food, prior to going to Detroit, I had looked up a variety of Detroit restaurant reviews, and found three that I really wanted to try. I had a rental car to use, so it wasn’t hard to get to these restaurants at night, and I’m happy to say that I was pleased with the food that I had at all three places.
