At the beginning of this month, I made the decision that I needed to go away for awhile. The reason I decided that I needed a vacation was because I had been putting in a lot of time at work. I am not really the type of person who normally makes a decision like this one, but I felt like under the circumstances, it was the right thing for me to do. Upon deciding to follow through with my plan, I started checking around the Internet to see if I could go somewhere without spending a ton of money. Luckily for me, it seems like this trip was meant to be because I discovered a great rate on a trip to Detroit. Since this trip was scheduled to last for four days, it seemed like it fit exactly what I had been wanting to find.

When you don’t worry about planning ahead, your trip schedule is pretty wide open, and this trip was no exception. Since the goal of my trip was to feel as free as possible, I decided to go ahead and get a Detroit car rental for myself. After everything was booked, I had less than a week to wait until I departed for my time away.

After getting off of the plane, I immediately went and got my Detroit car rental. Because I had already booked my Detroit car rental, I was able to get it in a matter of minutes. It turns out that set the tone for the rest of my trip, because it went smoothly and literally lifted the stress of of my shoulders.

My cousin is an extremely smart guy. On top of that, he is very confident and resilient. Because of this, it was incredibly hard to see him so broken and defeated two Christmases ago. Although he did his best to hide his true feelings, you could see through him and see that he looked like his soul had been crushed.

The reason that he seemed this way because he had been laid off of his job. This hurts anyone, but because he had excelled at his job and was on the track for a promotion, it was even harder on him. Fortunately, although this event bruised him quite badly, he’s not the type of person to ever give up.

Therefore, it was wonderful to visit him in Detroit last month and see that not only is he back on track, but he seems stronger than ever before. I went to visit him for several days, and he could not be in a better place right now. It took quite awhile, but he eventually secured a new job, and judging by how he’s living and the accomplishments he told me about, he will be rising through the ranks of his new company in no time!

I am so excited about the fact that I am going to be taking my first real business trip in less than a month. Taking a business trip may not sound like a very exciting event to you (especially if you are the type of person who has to take numerous business trips on a regular basis), but given the fact that this is going to be my first one, it’s actually a big deal for me.

If you are wondering why this is going to be my first business trip, it is because I just began my job in January (because I graduated from college in December). I’m a little nervous about the trip (since I want to do well), but I’m pretty confident that everything will turn out well during my trip. As long as it does, I will get to start traveling for my job on a regular basis.

I think the coolest thing about a business trip is that everything gets paid for. From my flight to my car rental in Detroit, I don’t have to worry about reaching into my wallet for any of these expenses.
